Erick Pepper Rivera is a Los Angeles-based composer and cartoonist. Rivera's work is influenced by a myriad of artists and styles. 

 

Rivera's music made its television debut on the KCET network in Los Angeles in February 2016 when he collaborated on filmmaker Javier Barboza's film Before Dodgers Stadium. In 2017 Rivera provided the score for the crowd-funded feature film "Tell 'Em Steve Dave's Makin' Clay." In 2020, He returned to KCET, working as the composer on The Watts Towers episode of ARTBOUND.

 

As a cartoonist, Rivera's graphic novel The Hat Boyz was published by One Peace Books (2018). The book explores the world of a naïve young man growing up in America and the relationship of a historically underserved community with the police. The book led to him being signed by literary manager Brad Petrigala (Brillstein Entertainment Partners) 

 

Today, Erick writes music and comics in Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife, son, and lazy dog.
